Al Rahman Mosque

Al Rahman mosque, on the right hand side, was once the library in Burngreave © Carl Rose This prominent brick building is situated on the corner of Gower Street and Ellesmere Road. It was originally the library in Burngreave up until 1990 when a new, library was erected on Spital Hill. It then became a mosque serving the Yemeni and Arabic speaking population of the area. <<previous MAP next>>
