I have kept a Valentine card made for me by my son, Frank. It says - 'To my Mummy, will you be my Valentine?' That was in 1946 during his first year in school and he was only five years old. I've kept it all these years. Now he's in his sixties and when I reminded him about it recently, he said, "Mother, you haven't still got that!" I have also kept a lock of his hair.
