Introduction

This photograph, belonging to Alice Ingham, shows her parents, Albert and Maud Olivia, on their wedding day on the 30th of December, 1914. At the time of the photograph, three generations of family from both sides are gathered together for the occasion, outside the newly wed's house on Fox Street. Alice was born two years later in 1916 and has lived on Fox Street all her life except for 3 months when the family were bombed out of their home during the Second World War. You can read about this event in the 'Wartime' section.
