Brooch Maddy holding her brooch in a little box © Carl Rose My favourite thing is a brooch that my mum gave me. It's bright green, in the shape of a horse's head, styled a bit like a circus horse. She found it outside her house when she was a little girl. She thought it might be valuable because it had fake diamonds on it - she was quite excited by that and kept it. Now I've got it and it's special because of the story she told me about it and because she has given it to me. I can't wear it because the pin at the back is broken but I still really like it. |
