One of my favourite things is the banner made for the Grimethorpe Anti Nuclear Group in 1982. We were only six people altogether but each person made two squares for it, like a patchwork quilt, so it was a real group effort. That's what makes it so special. And it was taken on marches all around the country - London, Menwith Hill, Greenham Common, Fillingdales, Coulport and Molesworth. Our mission statement was 'Grimesthorpe Anti Nuclear Group exists to counter the nuclear threat'. We had a laugh about that!
