We were only six people altogether but each person made two squares for it, like a patchwork quilt, so it was a real group effort. That's what makes it so special. And it was taken on marches all around the country - London, Menwith Hill, Greenham Common, Fillingdales, Coulport and Molesworth. Our mission statement was 'Grimesthorpe Anti Nuclear Group exists to counter the nuclear threat'. We had a laugh about that! |
