Weston Park Museum

From their first game at Owlerton Stadium in 1984 to their current home at the Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park Community Stadium, the Sheffield Eagles Rugby League Team have seen almost 40 years of highs and lows with their loyal family of fans by their side.


In 1998 the club achieved their greatest victory, as thousands of supporters gathered at Wembley to watch the Eagles beat odds- on favourites Wigan in the Challenge Cup final.

In 2022, the Eagles Foundation secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to uncover and share stories of the Sheffield Eagles.
