Workshops at Weston Park Museum, specifically designed for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Our workshops for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are carefully planned and resourced to allow your class to access and interact with museum collections. We know each group is different, so just let us know the needs of your pupils and we will adapt the workshop to suit those needs.

Workshops are held at Weston Park Museum and are primarily designed for pupils with SEND. They can be booked Tuesdays to Fridays during term time – our SEND workshops are also available on Mondays when the museum is closed to the public, if it’s more suitable for your class. Monday bookings will give your pupils exclusive use of the museum. This will enable your pupils to explore spaces in their own ways, allowing you to be comfortable in the knowledge that they are safe and welcome. A Monday booking does incur an extra cost for staffing and overheads.

With your booking you will also receive further information about each workshop, about parking for small school minibuses, and a visual story.

Browse through the list below to find a workshop that meets your learning needs – and if you’d like to know more, just get in touch.
