Sheffield Museums’ Art & Design Saturday Club is a new regular creative session for 13–16-year-olds. The Club is FREE, open to all and suitable for all abilities.
Club members will work alongside industry professionals from the art and design world, gaining hands-on experience and learning exciting new techniques in art and craft-making. They’ll also have the opportunity to engage with Sheffield’s incredible cultural collections, drawing inspiration from the exhibitions and displays at the Graves Gallery and Millennium Gallery.
Sessions will take place at the Millennium Gallery and Graves Gallery, allowing club members to gain unique insight into how galleries operate. As a club member, you’lll be able connect with other young people who share your creative interests, making new friends as you grow and explore together.
Club members will also have the chance to take part in national events, including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
Sheffield Museums Saturday Club has a limited number of places, so places will be allocated by application – please apply at: https://saturday-club.org/club/sheffield-museums/
Application is open to all, but if applications exceed capacity then priority will be given to young people from communities or backgrounds currently underserved in Sheffield Museums‘ audiences.
