Late: The Nature of Science

Thu 6 March 2025 , 7pm-10pm

Millennium Gallery

Join us for an evening exploring the biological and chemical principals that shape the natural world as the Biomolecular Sciences Research Centre at Sheffield Hallam University bring their annual science and art event to Millennium Gallery.

Take a journey through the science of colour, from how fluorescent microscopy illuminates the beauty and complexity of nature, to how chemical reactions influence the hue and taste of beer. Visit our water quality live lab and test samples from the five rivers of Sheffield.

From hands-on demonstrations to interactive talks, experience the thrill of exploration and discover how the natural world offers solutions to real-world challenges, from new medicine to environmental conservation.

Whether you're a seasoned scientist or a curious novice, don't miss this unique opportunity to witness the colour of science come to life.

Reserve your spot today to connect with experts and enthusiasts passionate about the intersection of science, nature, and art.
