Weston Park May Fayre Family Activities: Roll up, roll up for museum fun!

See the spectacular Simplex cars, get stuck into our creative activities, try our museum trail and explore objects from our handling collection as we join the Weston Park May Fayre celebrations!  

Try our hands-on activities and don a moustache, pop on a clown wig, pull up some inflatable weights and pose for a family photo in our very own Selfie pop up picture booth. Using our very own May Fayre inspired templates, decorate your own paper props and take a memorable photograph in front of our iconic pictures of Sheffield in our museum.  

You’ll also have chance to get up close with a range of objects in our museum handling collection, as well as trying out our latest family trail – solve the clues and explore the marvels of Weston Park Museum together. 

And don’t miss your chance to see two of the stars of Sheffield’s museum collection – the incredible Simplex cars! Arguably the most famous car ever made in the city, the Sheffield Simplex was a pinnacle in early 20th century design and engineering – only three remain today, and we’ll have two of them on display.
