Memory Café at the Museum

Created for people with dementia or memory issues and their carers but anyone wishing to reminisce is welcome.

Each session we provide either music, pictures, objects or films to inspire your recollections of a particular aspect of life. We welcome participants to bring their own items to share and discuss too!

On the 17 July we have Wessex Archaeology joining us as part of the Festival of Archaeology, where we’ll be exploring objects and imagery all Sheffield themed. Come along for a chat over tea, coffee and biscuits and find out more about Sheffield Castle, the steel works and the crucible

18th September we are celebrating 150 years of Weston Park Museum through reminiscing with old photographs of the site and music from the era
