Lunchtime Talk: 'Cars from Sheffield - 1900-1930'

Join author Steve Myers to learn about the history of Sheffield’s cars between 1900-1930. 

 

Steve’s talk will focus on the significance of pre-mass production car factories both generally and locally. He’ll also discuss the sources and evidence from his latest book 'Cars from Sheffield' and examine the history of the Charron Laycock, Sheffield Simplex and the Richardson cars, which can be seen on display at Kelham Island Museum.
