Family Activity: Lovely Little Hamlet Lavender Bags

Inspired by Abbeydale’s nature and Victorian past, get crafty in this textile workshop and design and make a lavender bag.  

You’ll learn how to create your design and embellish it by adding trimmings, buttons and ribbons.  We'll show you some you some simple stiches if you're up for it, but there will be glue and tape so littler hands can take part too.  

All materials will be provided and no experience of sewing is required. Suitable for the whole family to do together.  

Sessions run for 50 minutes. Please arrive at the start time of your ticket to ensure maximum time during the workshop. Please book a ticket for each child and each adult who will be participating in the workshop.  All ticket holders will be creating a lavender bag each.  All children need to be accompanied by an adult.
