Family Activity: Animals in Disguise

Tue 31 March 2026 , 12pm-3pm

Weston Park Museum

Learn about how creatures blend into their background by studying specimens from the museum’s amazing Natural Science collection.

In this activity we’ll be bringing out some taxidermy from the museum stores to explore how animals have changed their appearance for survival. Using different drawing and collage techniques, you’ll explore how a range of animals have adapted to their environments.

Everything we do is made possible by you – please donate £3 to help tell stories that connect people with their history, the world around them and each other
