Evening Talk: History of Kelham Island

Join local historian and Kelham Island resident, Anders Hanson for a talk on the history of the Kelham Island area 

 
In this insightful illustrated evening talk you’ll learn about the origins of Kelham Island, starting when it was set amongst fields. Anders will then take you through the Island’s industrial development and the time when the city was a production powerhouse, revealing some dramatic and surprising stories along the way. Finally, you’ll discover how it’s changed into the community it is now.
