Nearby, free on-road parking is available just 50m along Abbeydale Road South toward Dore & Totley Station, and further reasonable priced parking is available at Millhouses Park, just a 5-minute walk away.
As a courtesy to our neighbouring community, please avoid parking on the residential roads opposite the Hamlet as this can block access, particularly for larger vehicles and the Emergency Services.

By road
Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet is located just off the A621 on Abbeydale Road South, follow the signs to Bakewell from the city centre.

During all other times:
There is free visitor parking for up to 30 vehicles and 2 accessible parking spaces.
There is reasonably priced parking at Millhouses Park, just a 5-minute walk away.
There is also parking available on the wider sections of Abbeydale Road South.
We politely request that visitors do not park on Sherwood Glen (opposite the Hamlet) as this can result in obstructions for emergency services.

The nearest station is Dore located 0.5 miles along Abbeydale Road South, S7 2QW.
By bus

Your neighbourhood café, Joni is open at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet seven days a week, 9am – 4pm. Don't miss their signature breakfast, brunch, lunch & speciality coffee. Walks-ups are very welcome, but to guarantee your table you can pre-book here
Food & drink is not permitted in the Hamlet’s historic buildings, but picnics are welcome in our outdoor areas.

We are able to welcome trained Assistance Dogs* to all areas of the Hamlet, including inside the historic buildings.
Other well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in some areas of the Hamlet grounds. Due to the nature of the site and the impact on other visitors, we’re not able to permit them into the historic buildings or into the play area.
The owner is responsible for their dog at all times. We reserve the right to ask for a dog to leave a site if its behaviour is having a negative impact on other visitors or on staff.
